What Is an AOV Solar Camera?
AOV (Always-On Video) Solar Camera is a new-generation solar-powered security camera that can record video 24 hours a day. Unlike traditional solar cameras, it does not use a PIR motion sensor. Instead, the camera stays active all the time and continuously captures video, so no important moment is missed. Thanks to advanced low-power technology and a solar power system, AOV camera can achieve full-day recording while still operating on solar energy.
Product Supports:
● OEM / ODM Support
● Giftbox Customized
● Free Logo Printing
Traditional PIR Solar Camera
Uses a PIR sensor to detect motion
Starts recording only when motion is detected
May miss events if motion is too fast, too far, or blocked
Lower power consumption, but limited coverage

Low Frame Rate Recording in AOV Solar Camera
Low frame rate recording is a key technology used in AOV Solar Camera to enable continuous, 24-hour video recording while keeping power consumption extremely low. Instead of recording video at a high frame rate all the time, the camera captures fewer frames per second during normal monitoring. This significantly reduces energy usage, allowing the camera to operate reliably on solar power.
When important activity occurs, the recorded frames still provide a clear and complete view of the event, making it easy to understand what happened. By balancing video continuity and power efficiency, low frame rate recording allows AOV solar camera to stay always on without relying on wired power.

Long Detection Range up to 30 Meters
AOV Solar Camera is designed with an advanced video-based detection system that provides a detection range of up to 30 meters. Unlike traditional PIR-based cameras, which are limited by sensor sensitivity and environmental conditions, the AOV camera analyzes video data directly to detect activity at longer distances.
In comparison, a traditional PIR solar camera typically has a detection range of only 10 to 12 meters, limited by the physical characteristics of the PIR sensor. This shorter range may result in missed events beyond close proximity.
With nearly three times the detection distance, AOV solar camera reduces blind spots and delivers more reliable security monitoring for large or remote areas.
